Girl’s fiancé among three held in abduction case

Suspects kept changing their locations before their arrest

Three prime suspects including former fiancé of the teenage girl abducted from Shadbagh area has been arrested.

The suspects identified as Abid, Ilyas and Aftab were arrested reportedly from Multan. The victim girl E* was recovered reportedly from Pakpattan district on Sunday and presented before the court of Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC).

Lahore and Multan police conducted secret joint operation and arrested the accused from Multan said Punjab Police Spokesperson.

He further added that the accused persons had changed their locations several times since yesterday and kept fleeing from the police.

The police have also seized the vehicle of the accused persons used in the bid.

Meanwhile, the victim after being presented before submitted in her statement before a court that the suspect had taken him after forceful abduction to Kasur.

He had suppressed her for solemnising of Nikkah. However, when she resisted, he subjected her to torture.

The investigations also revealed that when police started looking for them, the suspects started changing their locations. They moved from Kasur to Pakpattan and from their left for Multan.

The victim E* was abducted from Shadbagh area of Lahore three days after she was returning home after taking her matriculation examination on a motorcycle with her brother.

The prime suspect Abid, her former fiancé, annoyed over breaking up of the relationship along with accomplices had intercepted her and on gunpoint abducted her in his car.
