Vaughn will direct from a script written by Jason Fuchs.

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Ellie Conway, which will be published in 2022. In a statement, Vaughn praised Argylle and compared the story to James Bond. “When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the ‘50s,” he said. “This is going to reinvent the spy genre.” The release date has not been confirmed yet.
