MUZAFFARABAD:

While voicing his concerns over the opposition's hullabaloo, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Abdul Qayyum Niazi on Sunday asked the parties to refrain from creating political instability in the country.

Abdul Qayyum Niazi says it is time to forge unity among all ranks to promote national integration

Addressing a gathering, Niazi said that it is time to forge unity among all stakeholders to promote national integration than destabilising Prime Minister Imran Khan's government.

He predicted that PM Imran will complete his five-year term, saying he had been given the mandate for the same by the people of Pakistan.

The AJK premier said that Pakistan and Kashmir both are in strong hands under the leadership of the prime minister and that a new era of progress and prosperity has begun in AJK.

"A special focus is on promoting tourism in AJK as the dream is to turn it into a prosperous and self-sufficient state soon," Niazi said, adding the development of the region was the responsibility of the government.

Commenting on the worsening situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), he said it is the responsibility of the international community to play its role to resolve the dispute.

"If the International Court of Justice (ICJ) can hear the case of Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav, why can't it hear the Kashmir issue and the crimes against humanity being committed by Indian occupation troops in IIOJK since 1989," Niazi questioned.

He urged the global community to come forward and settle the issue as per the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

On the occasion, the AJK PM also announced the reconditioning of Manil Fagosh Road and the upgradation of educational institutions in the area.

Besides others, Federal State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan also attended and addressed the function.
