Police catch high-end bootleggers ahead of New Year Eve

KARACHI:

Sahil police arrested two suspects selling expensive liquor via home delivery and recovered 113 bottles of smuggled whiskey and gin from them.

According to Sahil Police Station SHO Pir Shabbir the suspects, Anwar and Fasial, were delivering liquor supply orders in a luxury sedan, with cases of imported liquor in the trunk.
The seized cache includes all-time favourite sips of Johnnie Walker Black Label and Red Label, Chivas Regal, Absolute Vodka, Jack Daniels, and other brands. Cases of were to be used at New Year parties.

The arrested suspects confessed to supplying bottles of liquor in different areas of Clifton and Defence Housing Authority.

The arrested suspects revealed during the interrogation that they supplied to reliable clients through mobile phone communication.
SHO Shabbir said that the arrested accused Anwar is a habitual criminal and has been arrested before.
