15 alleged motorcycle lifters arrested in different raids

Stolen motorcycles are sent to two big traders in Rakni area of Balochistan where they are sold

Shahra-e-Noor Jahan, Steel Town and Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell police raided many areas in their jurisdiction and arrested 15 suspects involved in vehicle lifting and recovered 20 motorcycles, weapons and other items from their possession.

The Shahra-e-Noor Jahan police arrested Zahid, ringleader of 125 motorcycle lifter gang, along with his three accomplices Saqib Qureshi, Umair Haji and Razzaq and recovered weapons, four stolen 125 motorcycles and tools they used to break motorcycle locks from their possession.

According to SSP Central, the accused in the preliminary investigation disclosed that they have been stealing motorcycles and robbing those coming out of banks for many years. Stolen motorcycles are sent to two big traders in Rakni area of Balochistan, where stolen bikes are sold.

Meanwhile, the AVLC police arrested eight suspects including Ibrahim, Noman, Nasir, Farman, Rehan alias Noman, Akram Shah, Ashiq Shah and Gul Muhammad Shoro during various raids and recovered 13 motorcycles from their possession.

The suspects have confessed to selling the stolen motorcycles in interior Sindh and Sakran area Balochistan.

Separately, the Steel Town police in an operation arrested three suspects Soomar, Hassan and Sultan and recovered weapons and three motorcycles from their possession.

The suspects are habitual criminals and have been arrested several times.

Separately, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and police in a joint intelligence based operation arrested a drug dealer from Saadi Town area of Malir and recovered arms and drugs from his possession.
