Two women killed in domestic disputes

KARACHI:

The bodies of two women were found on Friday from separate areas of the metropolis.

A man shot and killed a woman at a house in Gulshan-e-Amna, Malir, in the remits of Airport Police Station. The police said Zubair alias Adam shot dead his wife, Musafi, after she refused to give him money to feed his drug addiction.

The deceased had recently sold her house for Rs2 million and her husband, Zubair, took the money from her on the pretext of making business investments but gambled it all away, said the police quoting family sources. Late on Thursday night, Zubair approached the deceased and asked her for more money and shot her when she refused.

Similarly, a man, identified as Riaz Gul, stabbed to death his wife, Hamida, 40, in their house in Orangi Town area.

The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
