Motorcycle ambulance service launched

The move aims to ensure quick response in dealing with emergency situations.

VEHARI:

District Emergency Service Rescue 1122 has started its motorcycle ambulance service to ensure quick response in dealing with emergency situations.

Regional Rescue Officer Dr Rao Ejaz inaugurated the motorcycle ambulance service on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ejaz said that six motorcycle ambulances have been provided to the district to bring an improvement in service for facilitating the people in case of any emergencies.

Regional Rescue Officer said that Rescue 1122 was providing the best services for saving lives and property of the people in different incidents and emergency situations.

Addressing the ceremony, District Emergency Officer Danish Khalil welcomed the induction of motorcycle ambulances in the rescue squad.

Danish Khalil said that the motorcycle ambulances would definitely help in improving the rescue service performance and will alsodeal with emergencies in densely populated areas of the city.
