Over 60 per cent of Islooites get Covid jabs

Positivity ratio climbed slightly during the last two days, to 8.15 per cent

ISLAMABAD:

Around 61 per cent or 1.3 million population of Islamabad has been vaccinated against the coronavirus.

According to figures shared by Islamabad District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Zaeem Zia on Sunday, the positivity ratio climbed slightly during the last two days and was recorded at 8.15 per cent, which was recorded 6.55 per cent earlier.

The DHO said some 1.3 million people have been vaccinated in Islamabad so far and health teams were committed to completing the immunisation drive as early as possible.
