Victim’s wife killed him with help of her lover

The body of the husband, who was killed by his wife and her acquaintance a year and a half ago, was found in a pit dug inside the house in Chak Jhumra on Friday.

Police said the details, a year and a half ago, Pathani Bibi, a resident of Umair Town, Bawachak, informed the police that her husband Sajjad Ahmed left home for some work never returned.

The police searched for him on their own and later asked Pathani Bibi to lodge the case but she did not registered.

In October 2020, Imran, the alleged paramour of Pathani Bibi, killed Pathani Bibi in her house for unknown reasons. He abducted her daughter Sonia, whose body was found the next day in the Nishatabad area.

On the morning of July 9, 2021, Ehtesham along with his other relatives came from Umair Town Bawachak house to pick up household items. When he felt like a grave below while lifting the iron rod lying in the room, he informed Millat Town Police.

Upon receiving this information, SHO Millat Town Abid Hussain Jutt reached the spot and found skeleton of Sajjad Ahmed inside when he dug the pit.

Police shifted him to the hospital and registered a case against the accused under Section 302 and 201 PPC on the statement of in-charge Investigation Millat Town Police Station.

According to SHO Millat Town Sub-Inspector Abid Hussain Jutt, a case has been registered against the suspect Imran after the murder of victim’s wife and her daughter.

The SHO further said that allegedly Pathani Bibi's character was not good. Meanwhile, Imran had also had an illicit affair with Pathani Bibi's daughter Sonia.
