Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal said the Public Sector Development Programme launched an automation system for the first time in history through which data of every scheme could be traced.
“The PSDP application will enable users to trace data of every development scheme via a bar code,” said the chief minister on Monday during a meeting with Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Jahanzeb Khan.
The other attendees of the meeting included Balochistan Chief Secretary Motahar Niaz, Planning and Development Additional Chief Secretary Abdul Basit, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Zahid Saleem, Finance Secretary Khan Buledi, Information Secretary Sohailur Rehman Baloch and other officials concerned.

He added the government was making efforts to promote public-private partnership in Balochistan, while it had set up two companies to bolster the mining sector of the province.
Talking about the development plans, Kamal said the provincial government had signed an agreement with the Punjab government for the master plan of Quetta city.
The chief minister said the government has implemented law for access to the information act, adding the province also introduced a digital policy for the first time.
Kamal further said the government has prepared Citizen Budget Book for people so that it would be feasible for them to understand the financial allocations and priorities of the government for the financial year 2021-22.
The Planning Commission deputy chairman proposed to initiate a dialogue on development to improve partnership and ties between the Centre and Balochistan on the uplift projects.
He emphasised on the use of modern technology for the development of livestock, agriculture and water conservation in the province.
During the meeting issues related to agriculture, development of livestock sector, private investment, minerals, water and food security were discussed, while the participants also shared measures taken so far for socio-economic development, sustainable development goals (SDGs), Universal Health Card, PSDP automation system and Citizen Budget 2021-22.
