Alizeh Shah considers BTS comparison a compliment

The actor recently cut her hair short, receiving a slew of hate in response

Actor and TikTok sensation Alizeh Shah recently chopped off her long locks to sport a short and fun hairdo. The actor took to Instagram to show off her new hair, and as expected, trolls were ready to hurl hateful comments at her as soon as she posted her picture.

In one particular tag, an Instagram user compared Alizeh's new look to members of the Korean superhit band BTS. "Alizeh Shah ready to join BTS," wrote the user, drawing a comparison between the actor and BTS member Jungkook.

Alizeh reposted the story to her own Instagram page, turning the hate into positivity by considering the comparison to the K-Pop icon a compliment. "Umm, I'll take that as a compliment," wrote the actor on her story.

The Ehd e Wafa starlet recently received flak from members of the industry as well, with filmmaker and actor Yasir Nawaz and his wife, morning show host Nida Yasir, calling her 'difficult to work with.'

In an interview, Yasir spoke about his reluctance to take on acting again, saying the experience was not a pleasant one for him. “Acting disturbed me a little. There were a lot of reasons. I just didn't enjoy it. I always regretted getting into acting, it was that bad."

Elaborating further, Nida spoke about the issues Yasir has faced with co-stars in the past. “As an actor, Yasir had some difficulty working with Alizeh Shah. There wasn't enough chemistry, even though Yasir gets along well with everyone. But, as a director, no one has ever bothered him,” she shared, later adding, “You have to be careful who you work with. You need to look into who you are going to be cast with.”

But Feroze Khan has since come to Alizeh's defence. "I've worked with Alizeh Shah. It was great. She is a very young girl with no media handling or schooling from the family or friends of the industry,” he said.
