Three children die in grenade blast

QUETTA:

At least three children died while three others sustained in a hand grenade blast at Khrotabad area of Quetta on Thursday.

According to police sources, the victims were minor children who were playing with a hand grenade when it exploded in Killi Badinzai near Kharotabad.

As a result, three children died on the spot and three others suffered injuries. The bodies and the injured were shifted to the Bolan Medical College (BMC) for treatment.

The law enforcement agencies reached the site, cordoned off the area and started investigation. Police said that the children found the grenade somewhere and mistook it for a toy. When they started playing with it, it exploded suddenly.
