‘Movement banned at the right time’
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary leader Senator Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry while addressing a press conference at the party secretariat said that the movement causing mass upheaval has been banned at the right time. However, the senator conceded that organisations can be banned not thinking therefore the door of negotiation has been kept ajar.
Speaking on the occasion he said the government took timely action to save the country from a catastrophe. “The organisation was founded by a policeman and the sheer irony that now we have more than 500 policemen injured by protestors of the same organisation,” he lamented. “247 of them are fighting for their life and at least four lost the battle and died of critical wounds,” he expressed remorse. Ejaz underlined that torturing law enforcement officials under the guise of protest is a coup against the state and the government will not allow anyone to challenge their writ under any circumstances.

The ruling party senator said that he wants to send out a message of peace even today as he wants the country to enjoy harmony. “Imran Khan is the first prime minister who paid homage to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in every forum,” he claimed. PTI General Secretary Ali Imtiaz Warraich, Nasir Salman, Malik Amanat and Zarin Rehman were also present during the presser.
