Two killed in North Waziristan attacks

A woman was killed inside her house on Sunday night

NORTH WAZIRISTAN:

Two young men were gunned down in two separate incidents in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan tribal district last night.

Police told The Express Tribune that in tehsil Datta Khel unknown masked men entered a house and opened firing in which Zohaib was killed on the spot. His cousin Waliullah was left seriously injured in the late night attack. The injured was rushed to the hospital in Mir Ali where his condition is stated to be critical. The attackers managed to escape after committing the crime.

Zohaib was student and his cousin is a NADRA employee.

In a separate incident in Khushal Tori Khel area tehsil Mir Ali a 19 year old man Amjad was found dead. He had been kidnapped by unknown people days ago and his bullet riddled body was found in a deserted place.

It is worth mentioning here that on Sunday two women were killed and one seriously injured.

In the first incident in Aziz Khel village, Mir Ali tehsil a woman was killed inside her house when unknown people entered the house and opened firing.

“The unfortunate woman was eating with family and children. In 2013 her husband was killed in a targeted attack by unknown people,” said a local resident, adding that the attackers managed to escape after committing the crime.

Locals believed that it was yet another targeted attack in the area in which a woman had been targeted.

Another incident happened in Mir Ali when a woman was killed and another seriously injured during aerial firing in a wedding ceremony.
