Medical breakthrough: Stem cell therapy comes to Pakistan
A transplant physician at the National Institute of Blood Transfusion, said that stem cell therapy would revolutionise the field of medicine and surgery in the coming years.
Infected portions of the heart can also be healed by this method, he added. This treatment costs around 1.8 to 2.2 million rupees.
