The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is preparing for horse trading in the coming Senate elections, alleged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-president and oppsition leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh on Saturday.

Addressing a press conference, Haleem said, "The PPP government only gave sermons instead of extending tangible assistance to people." He added, "While Rs80 billion was spent on account of subsidies in Sindh, the common man did benefit from them and the funds were reserved for the rich."

Insisting that the PPP's media cell was misleading the masses via "false propaganda", he accused the party of hiring highly paid advisers to spread disinformation about the federal government.

Haleem further remarked, "There is the law of jungle in Sindh, where the PPP is using the Sindh Assembly for its vested interests. We will not allow this and go to court."

He said he had already written a letter to the premier, informing him of Sindh's corrupt bureaucracy, and had requested him to get the Civil Servants Efficiency and Discipline Rules 2020 implemented in the province.

The PTI leader claimed that Rs967 billion was lost in corruption during the last 10 years in Sindh.
