Govt to set up hospitality institute in Mithi

as a joint venture with the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority

The Sindh Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Department will establish a campus of the Pakistan Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (PITHM) at Mithi, as a joint venture with the Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) and Sindh Engro.

At a meeting on Wednesday, provincial culture and tourism Syed Sardar Ali Shah said PITHM branches were to be set up in Hyderabad, Larkana and Tharparkar. The campus aims to help Thari youth develop skills in the food and hotel sectors, opening up more opportunities for them.
