Three suspected drug dealers nabbed

In an ongoing drive against narcotics and anti-social elements, the Rawalpindi police have arrested three suspected drug peddlers in separate raids in different parts of the city, arresting three suspects.

A police spokesperson said that the Waris Khan police arrested a drug peddler, identified as Arshad Khan, in a raid and recovered 2.5 kilogrammes of hashish from his possession.

In a separate raid, the Pirwadhai police apprehended a suspected drug pusher, named Sajid, and seized 1.1 kilogrammes of hashish from his possession. Rawat Police also nabbed a drug peddler, identified as Sarfraz Khan, in a raid and recovered 1.12 kilogrammes of hashish from his possession.

The police registered separate cases against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act while further investigations are underway.
