QUETTA:

The Chief of Sarawan tribe and former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani on Sunday alleged that the National Accountability Bureau is using “revenge tactics” against him.

In a message on Twitter, he expressed amazement on how the anti-graft watchdog decided to pursue a case against him after seven years.

“These are revenge tactics,” Nawab Raisani said, adding that that he could have made so much money from Gwadar port project but did not. “We considered it as the trust of the Baloch nation and protected it.”

He concluded that he does not having anything to hide and is open to cooperating in the upcoming investigations.

The chief of Sarawan tribe also alleged that Pakistan had close relations with Israel during the Soviet Afghan war even without any diplomatic relations.
