The Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has demanded of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company to address the issue of tripping and low voltage in Hayatabad Industrial Estate. The SCCI President Sherbaz Ilyas Bilour met with a delegation of industrialists on Wednesday. He said frequent power cuts and low voltage has badly impacted the industries. The SCCI president demanded that uninterrupted power supply to all industrial estates in the province. He said that expensive machines, electrical appliances and other equipment have broken down due to tripping, fluctuation, and low voltage. The raw material during processing in the machine are also wasted, he added.
