‘Upholding the law’: Police allegedly involved in power theft

SIALKOT: The district police officer (DPO) Sialkot is allegedly involved in power theft according to a new report aired on a private news channel on Sunday. The DPO office consists of a conference hall and many other offices, where stolen electricity was being used since long, according to the report. The superintending engineer Wapda and SDO Civil Lines sub-division were given a phone call to confirm the incident but they did not answer. DPO Sialkot Bilal Siddique Kamyana has denied the theft saying that he had no information about any such incident. He however said he will certainly look into the matter.
