Two young women, one girl killed in separate incidents

KARACHI:

Two young women and one girl were killed in separate traffic accidents in the city on Thursday.

Two women were killed and a man was injured when a trailer-truck rammed into their motorcycle near Jackson Market. Rescue workers shifted the deceased and injured to Dr Ruth Civil Hospital.

Jackson SHO Inspector Adil Malik informed that the deceased were identified as 18-year old Quratulain Maqsood and 18-year old Uzma Wahid, and the injured as Abdullah. The three were related to each other.

According to the police, the truck driver fled from the spot after the accident, while the bodies were handed over to the respective families.

In another incident, a six-year-old girl was killed when a vehicle ran over her outside her house in Baloch Para, PIB Colony. She died on the spot as a result of a fatal head injury.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
