Change of guard ceremony held

LAHORE:

A prestigious change of guard ceremony was held on Friday at the mausoleum of the national poet of Pakistan Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA) in Hazuri Bagh. A smartly dressed new contingent of Pakistan Army assumed the charge of Mazar-e-Iqbal. After the ceremony, Lahore Major General Muhammad Aniq Ur Rehman Malik laid a floral wreath on the grave of the national hero and offered Fateha. He also recorded his impressions in the visitor’s book.
