CTD nabs ‘MQM-London hitmen’

CTD states suspects had confessed to being part of an MQM-L target killing team

Two alleged hitmen belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London were arrested by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police during a raid in the West district on Thursday. According to a CTD statement, the arrested suspects, Faisal Ali alias Tarzan and Nizamuddin alias Amir Pepsi, were involved in targeted killings, murders, attempted murders and other serious crimes, while pistols and bullets were seized from their possession. The CTD added that the suspects had confessed to being part of an MQM-L target killing team and had been in hiding due to ongoing operations against criminal elements. The suspects further disclosed that they had been planning to form a new target killing team under MQM-L’s direction, while also admitting to involvement in arms smuggling, extortion and other crimes. The police are searching for their accomplices.
