Body, Rs70,000 handed to family

RAWALPINDI:

The body of a man, who suffered a heart attack upon arriving in the city, was returned to his family. Cash worth Rs70,000 recovered from the man's pocket was also returned to the family.

Officials said that a man, identified as Aurangzeb had arrived in Rawalpindi aboard a bus. However, as soon as the bus reached the Pirwadhai bus stand, the man suffered a heart attack and died.

Officers said that upon discovery of the body, they immediately took it into custody and called the paramedics. His family was contacted in Lahore. When his family arrived, the body and Rs70,000, recovered from his pocket, and other personal effects were handed over to them.
