LAHORE: Two transformers caught fire in separate incidents in the provincial capital on Friday.

A transformer caught fire on Walton Road. Fire suddenly broke out in the transformer situated near Korhay Stop reportedly due to short circuit.

Nearby people called Rescue 1122 teams. Fire fighters reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

Moreover, another transformer caught fire in the provincial metropolis. The case was reported in Makkah Chowk, Sabzazar where an electric transformer reportedly caught fire due to short-circuit. Nearby people called Rescue 1122 teams.

Fire fighters reached the spot on information and extinguished fire. No loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
