Govt working for uplift of youth: CM Kamal

Jam Kamal Khan says young people are the backbone of Balochistan Awami Party

QUETTA: Provincial Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has turned into a national political force and the party is working for the uplift of the youth.

“BAP-led government has been utilizing all resources for empowering the youth and providing them with employment opportunities,” Kamal said in a meeting with the delegation of BAP Youth Wing at his residence the other day in Uthal.

Terming the youth the backbone of his party, Kamal said that the government was striving hard to resolve their issues.

BAP Youth Wing Chairman Abdul Rashid Jamoot and President Ghulam Murtaza Lasi informed the chief minister about the issues of the youth in Lasbela.

Speaking about the progress work in the province, CM Kamal noted that different development schemes had been started, while construction of Uthal, Bela and Lakhra highways would the ease transportation issues of the local population.

The chief minister warned that strict action would be taken if the contractor attempted to shorten the width of Lakhra highway as the government had released funds for 20-feet road.

Local fishermen also met Kamal and apprised him of their concerns.

The chief minister assured them that the government would address their issues on priority.
