‘Minority employment quota fully implemented’

The adviser said the provincial government has allocated Rs1.3 billion for development work in fiscal year 2019-2020

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Balochistan Awami Party’s (BAP) Adviser on Minority Affairs and the member of Provincial Assembly Dinesh Kumar has said the minorities are also a part of society and enjoy complete freedom and equal rights in the province.

Kumar expressed these views while talking to the different delegations of the Hindu community and journalists in Dera Murad Jamali.

He said minorities are playing a positive role in development and wellbeing of the country and stand united with the nation under all circumstances.

“The provincial government is taking initiatives to protect the rights of the minorities and ensure their welfare,” he said.

The adviser said the provincial government has allocated Rs1.3 billion for development work in fiscal year 2019-2020 while funds have also been allocated to protect religious places.  The surveillance systems will also be improved, he added.
