Plant species development : Life Technologies and UAF sign MoU

The UAF has identified and verified certain plant species and now it will initiate a research project.

FAISALABAD: Life Technologies Kyber-Pakhtunkhwa and University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop suitable formation of certain plant species which are a source of plant growth promoters at farm level for commercialization. The MoU was inked by Life Technologies Chief Executive Mushraq Ahmad and Dr M A Basra from the Department of Crop Psychology UAF. The UAF has identified and verified certain plant species and now it will initiate a joint research project with the  company.  The Departments of Agronomy and Crop Physiology of UAF and the company will collaborate in evaluation of polymers formulated to enhance the seed emergence.
