Attractive incentives : Ras Al Khaimah woos investors

The concessions offered by the emirate included 100 per cent income and corporate tax exemption.

LAHORE: Ras Al Khaimah, an emirate of the United Arab Emirates, has invited investment from foreign investors, declaring it has one of the best regulatory environments in the region and offered a highly attractive economic package. This was discussed at a function organised by Pakistan Industrial and Traders Association Front (PIAF) for a two-member delegation of Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority on Tuesday. Asma Faisal of the investment authority said the concessions offered by the emirate included 100 per cent income and corporate tax exemption, full repatriation of capital and profit, readily available labour, hassle-free licensing procedures, excellent airport and seaport facilities and absence of foreign exchange control, trade barriers and quotas.
