Balochistan govt to provide full support and cooperation to the BRSP

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly lawmaker Shaheena Mehtarzai has lauded role of Balochistan Rural Support Programme (BRSP) in providing education, health and clean water to backward and rural areas of province.

“The BRSP has increased capabilities of youth and folk women in rural areas,” Mehtarzai said while visiting main office of the BRSP in Quetta. BRSP Chief Executive Officer Nadir Gul Bareech briefed Mehtarzai about ongoing schemes of the provincial government for remote areas of Balochistan.

Giving details about the project, BRSP CEO said efforts are under way to facilitate people of remote areas by providing them health, education and clean water. Mehtarzai expressed satisfaction over performance of the BRSP and appreciated the team for their efforts in remote areas.

She said the provincial government would provide full support and cooperation to the BRSP to eradicate backwardness and poverty from remote areas.

Mehtarzai highlighted responsibilities of all stakeholders who are performing various roles in providing basic facilities to people. She expressed hope that the BRSP would expand its services to other areas of Balochistan including Quetta.
