Bollywood it-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have won the hearts of many with their cute moments together.

Last year, the duo tied the knot at the Villa del Balbianello, on the shore of Lake Como in Italy. Arriving by boat, the actors and their guests made their way to a terrace at the front of the villa overlooking the lake, where the lavish ceremony appeared to have been held.

DeepVeer dated for seven long years before finally walking down the aisle together and yet maintained a dignified silence on the countless relationship and breakup rumours, reported Pinkvilla.

Padukone has had a stellar career so far, that some could say surpass her husbands. The actor has had a myriad of major hits where she has narrated a myriad of different roles. From playing the role of a doting daughter to Amitabh Bachchan in Piku, to a girl next door in Yeh Jawaani to a rani (queen) in Padmaavat, she has catapulted herself to one of Bollywood's most sought-after stars.

In her upcoming highly-anticipated film Chhapaak, Padukone is donning a role as the 'toughest of her career,' where she will be seen playing the role of an acid attack survivor.

During a recent interview on the film, the actor shared her thoughts on the role of Vikrant Massey, who is always standing by and supporting the female lead. Padukone made an analogy to her own relationship with Singh, saying it is men like him who reaffirm her belief that good men exist in the world.

"I’d have a long day but I didn’t feel anxious about whether he would be upset about me coming home late or because I hadn’t called. I have been in relationships where I didn’t have that. When you don’t have to worry about such things, it allows you to focus on work,” Padukone said during the interview.

Singh, too, got emotional after watching the heart-wrenching trailer of Chhapaak, The film revolves around the real-life story of a woman who braves all odds after a jilted man throws acid on her face.

Recalling Ranveer’s reaction after watching the trailer, Deepika said, "After watching the trailer of Chhapaak, he recalled the time when we were promoting Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela in Jaipur and there was a person dressed exactly like Shah Rukh Khan who jumped out of the crowd at me I had forgotten all about it but he remembered."

Chhapaak is set to hit screens on January 10, 2020.
