Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio says gets "nauseated" by actors who complain about difficulties related to their careers.

The star and environmental activist was discussing The Revenant, the film for which he won Best Actor Oscar in 2016, in a recent interview with Deadline when he shed light on how he feels about actors in the industry.

He was asked about the "ordeal" of the filming process, which DiCaprio has previously shared involved some of the most difficult things he's had to face in his career.

When the interviewer pointed out that filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu hasn't directed a feature film since The Revenant, DiCaprio replied, "No, he hasn't. We've been talking about some things. But in terms of gearing up for these things, I'm not going to give you a massive song and dance about the difficulties."

Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Camila Marrone defends their 23-year age difference

"I get nauseated when I hear people talk about how difficult the industry is. That makes me nauseous because we're so f****** lucky to do what we do."

He went on to acknowledge that filming The Revenant was "an exhausting experience." The actor portrayed the role of Hugh Glass, a legendary frontiersman, who is severely injured in a bear attack and is abandoned by his hunting crew. He uses his skills to survive and take revenge on his companion.

DiCaprio has entered the awards race for his performance as Rick Dalton in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. The role has earned him a Golden Globe nomination in the best performance by an actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy category.
