ISLAMABAD:

The first criminal case linked to alleged electoral fraud in the upcoming G-B general elections has been registered in Diamer district, after accusations surfaced regarding the use of forged official documents in connection with a government employee's vote.

According to the FIR lodged at City Police Station Chilas, Khush Muhammad, a candidate of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) contesting from Tangir and nephew of former Gilgit-Baltistan chief minister Gulbar Khan, has been nominated in the case.

The FIR states that authorities uncovered the alleged use of a fake official stamp belonging to the SSP.
