QUETTA: Former senator Nawabzada Haji Lashkari Raisani on Tuesday said that all ethnicities and nations living in Balochistan are united over the provincial agenda, insisting that collective efforts have become imperative for a positive outcome on the province’s rights.

He shared these views while meeting the delegations at Sarawan House, Quetta, expressing indignation over conspiracies attempting to escalate tensions among tribes living in Balochistan.

“People from Gwadar to Chaman and Naseerabad to Koh-e-Sulaiman have realised that without collective strive we cannot win provincial autonomy and rights on our natural resources,” Raisani said. He stressed upon provincial youth to get into book reading and educate themselves, underscoring that fostering educational activities is important to spread awareness among the public so that the latter know their rights due to the state.

Raisani hailed the support of the people of the province on the Balochistan National Party’s protest against the forced displacement of local tribes from their ancestral lands.
