Seems like Saqib Malik's directional Baaji is not slowing down anytime soon. The Meera-starrer, which released in June this year, is all set to be screened at the prestigious Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival soon.

The drama also had successful runs at the DC South Asian Film Festival and the Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival, where it had earlier won the Grand Jury Prize as well as bagging accolades for Best Supporting Actor. Now, the news of film's latest success was revealed on its official Instagram page, which announced Baaji will be screened in Vancouver on November 16.

Baaji is a film set in the time space of Lollywood's fading glory and the emerging Pakistani film industry. It stars Meera in the lead role, where she plays Shameera, a superstar whose popularity is fast dwindling, as is her sanity. Baaji is said to be the actor's comeback film and the story line eerily similar to her life in reality.

'Baaji' and 'Laal Kabootar' gear up to be screened at DC South Asian Film Festival

The cast includes Osman Khalid Butt, Amna Ilyas, Ali Kazmi and Nayyar Ejaz in major roles.  Mohsin Abbas Haider and Nisho Begum also make an appearance in the film.
