Five more killed in Karachi target killings

KARACHI: Five people were killed in various incidents of target killings in Karachi on Monday as the city returned to normalcy after five days of continued violence which killed more than 100 people and wounded several others.

Unidentified gunmen killed a middle-aged man Mohammad Hassan in Pak Colony, while the body of a man, identified as Abdul Sattar Baloch, was found in the Eidgah area on Nishtar Road.

A 50-year-old man was also shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Khadda Market area of Lyari which resulted in a heavy exchange of gunfire. The killing also resulted in people taking to the streets and blocking the nearby Mauripur Road.

On Sunday, six people including a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) man were killed in Orangi town.

Situation tense in Lyari as two groups clash

Two groups clashed in Lyari area on Monday leading to a complete shutter-down of Lee Market, Baghdadi, Moosa Lande and Khadda Market.

Police closed all entries to Lee Market and commandos were called in to control the situation.

Traffic in the area was also suspended due to the clash.

if our political party made a full bycate to do not share govt alliance with such party which invole in the country blame then no one has the courage to take part in violecne
