Police on Saturday vcarried out a crackdown on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) youth wing protest call at Millennium Mall over concerns about Imran Khan's health, preventing the demonstration, PTI Karachi spokesperson Fauzia Siddiqui alleged.

She said more than 30 workers were detained, while the action caused severe traffic jams in the area.

PTI Karachi Division President Raja Azhar accused Sindh police of "unjust arrests" and using "fascist tactics" against peaceful protesters. He claimed that among those arrested were Sindh Vice President Farrukh Khan and Youth Wing Karachi Information Secretary Waseem Korai.

Party leaders said workers had been repeatedly targeted since February 1, with arrests and jail terms imposed on "innocent activists." They condemned the provincial government, demanding immediate release of detainees.

PTI Karachi chief, warned that if the issue was not resolved, the party could shut down the city. He said citizens were deeply concerned about Imran Khan's health and had the right to protest peacefully.
