Nephews assault their uncle

SARGODHA: A man was murdered during an incident of family quarrel in Bhalwal Saddar on Friday. Police officials said that Muhammad Ejaz, son of Ahmad Din and resident of Chak No 26/NB quarreled with his nephews over issues related to family on Thursday night. In a fit of rage, the accused nephews Rashid and Fahad, sons of Muhammad Mumtaz, assaulted their uncle, Muhammad Ejaz. As a result of the incident, the uncle died and the nephews fled from the scene. The body was shifted to a hospital and handed over to the heirs after postmortem. On the report of the deceased’s relatives, police registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
