FAISALABAD: A man shot his niece in the Lundianwala police station precincts for not serving him food on time. According to police officials, Chak 560-GB Kalo Khail resident 16-year-old Samina was staying with her uncle Mumtaz for the summer. On Sunday, Mumtaz ordered her to prepare food for him but she took a little longer than expected to do so. The delay infuriated her uncle and he shot Samina several times in front of several family members. Samina was not shifted to the hospital for several hours and died in her uncle’s house. Police officials have registered case but neighbours of the family said that none of the eyewitnesses were willing to testify against Mumtaz.
