Cardiac stent inserted into Ombudsperson

ISLAMABAD: Federal Ombudsperson Syed Tahir Shehbaz has been admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after a cardiac arrest. The hospital sources said that Dr Muhammad Naeem carried out his angiography and inserted a cardiac stent after which, the ombudsperson’s condition was under control. However, he would remain under observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the 24 hours.
