
The government has enlisted the assistance of district administrations, municipal committees, population department and all district agencies for this purpose.

The government also issued a notification calling for the establishment of 12-member committee in each district which will be headed by the deputy commissioner on district level and comprise additional deputy commissioner 1, district health officer, head of teaching at civil hospital if any, medical superintendent of District Headquarters or Tehsil Headquarters, district population welfare officer, People's Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) district manager, Integrated Health Services (IHS) district manager, cantonment executive officer and others.
According to the notification issued by the government, the committee will survey the hospitals related to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, the rural health centres and dispensaries. It will work for the provision of medicines and better health facilities to the patients in the hospitals and will also be responsible for the repair and provision of basic facilities.
The committee would work to address the shortage of medical and paramedical staff in the hospitals and it can also obtain funds from the provincial government for the improvement of hospitals.
