Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed of the Lahore High Court deferred till July 4 the hearing of a contempt of court petition against the religious affairs secretary and other officials moved by a group of private Hajj tour organisers.
The judge postponed the hearing as the Government of Pakistan and the Ministry of Religious Affairs sought more time to file a reply to the petition.
The petition was moved by Ashfaq Ahmed Mirza, chief executive of Travel Shop (Pvt) Limited.
