Rs380m allocated for healthcare in Punjab

Funds allocated to provide best healthcare facilities to people living in backward districts

MIANWALI: Around Rs380 million have been allocated to provide the best healthcare facilities to people living in backward districts under the prime minister’s health programme, stated member of the Punjab Assembly Aminullah Khan.

He expressed these views while addressing a meeting at the Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn Health Centres (IRMNHC) in Mianwali district on Wednesday. CEO Health Dr Saeed Sheikh and other officials from the health department were also present.

CEO Health Dr Sheikh Saeed said that the PM’s health programme was initially launched in eight districts including Mianwali, Chiniot, Rajanpur, Kasur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Lodhran, Jhang and Attock.
