‘It’s tough to find a true friend in Bollywood’: Actor Parineeti Chopra is happy she found a confidant in Arjun Kapoor

Bollywood starlet Parineeti Chopra says it is difficult to find a true friend in Bollywood, and she is glad that she found one in
actor Arjun Kapoor.

The actor opened up about her equation with Arjun in an episode of Voot's Feet Up with the Stars Season 2, reported Business Standard.  "We have a love-hate relationship," Parineeti said when asked about her relationship with Arjun. "It is difficult to find a true friend in Bollywood and he is definitely one.”

Speaking about her off-screen chemistry with him, Parineeti quipped, "I don't mind  giving him my phone to take my picture but all I find in the gallery is 50-plus selfies of himself."

The two share a close bond after working together in Ishaqzaade and Namaste England. They will also be seen in the upcoming Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.

Asked  whether she is aware about Arjun's rumoured wedding with Malaika Arora, Parineeti said, “I don't know if he is getting married.” Recalling an interview Parineeti participated in with her Kill Dil
co-star and Pakistani actor Ali Zafar, she said, “When you meet him, you will never know Ali is from a different country until he tells you.” She then added that India attracts global talent and there is nothing wrong with it.

“I personally do not agree with this ban on Pakistani artists. I wish I could work with Ali again. I wish I could work with Fawad. He would be such a great hero in our industry. He is so loved here.”

Parineeti will be next seen in the Hindi remake of The Girl on The Train where she will be playing the role of an alcoholic divorcee who gets involved in unexpected circumstances while aimlessly riding on a train. Apart from this, she will also be seen in the biopic on ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal.
