Sargodha literary festival ends today
A large number of literati, scholars and students in attendance
SARGODHA:
The three-day Sargodha Literary Festival will conclude on Thursday (today). Held at the University of Sargodha, a large number of literati, scholars and students attended the festival on the first two days.
On the schedule for the final day is a lecture by Dr Pervez Hoodhboy on ‘Loving Pakistan’, a mushaira by renowned poet Tehzeeb Hafi and a musical concert.
Three-day National Book Mela attracts large crowd
The second day of the festival, which was on Wednesday, aimed to provide students a forum to interact, exchange ideas and engage in dialogues and debates.
A session on ‘Sufism; a tradition of tolerance’ was held in which veteran researchers and intellectuals spoke.
