A good budget speech

LAHORE: Dr Hafeez Sheikh delivered an excellent speech in the National Assembly, better than many previous finance ministers. But it remains to be seen if the intention of the government has any relevance to the contents of the speech. This country needs political will to enforce financial discipline, hold accountable tax evaders and drastically cut embezzlement and theft of state resources.
