Balochistan University superintendent killed in Quetta

Suspects fired at the vehicle from the sides and front, killing the varsity's superintendent on the spot

QUETTA: Balochistan University Superintendent Syed Hussain Shah was gunned down by unidentified men on Tuesday.

According to police sources, unidentified gunmen on motorbikes attacked Shah near Quetta's Sariab bridge while he was on his way to the university.



Further details revealed that the suspects fired at the vehicle from the sides and the front, killing the varsity’s superintendent on the spot.

Following the incident, law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) cordoned off the area. The body was shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Probe on the matter is underway.
