At least four terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in the Loralai district of Balochistan on Tuesday.

According to the Inter Services Public relations press release, those killed in the security operation were responsible for terrorist activities in Balochistan including the attack at Sanjawi on March 20 which martyred six levies personnel.

Security forces raided a house in the Nasirabad area after receiving an intelligence tip-off, said Assistant Superintendent (ASP) Loralai Attaur Rehman.

"Cache of weapons, suicide jackets and heavy explosives, personal belongings including service cards and NICs of levies personnel killed at Sanjawi were also recovered," ISPR added.

As security forces surrounded the suspect property, and exchange of fire ensued and four security personnel were injured. The terrorists reportedly blew themselves up inside the house.


"A woman was also present among the four terrorists who blew themselves up," the police official added.

Two terrorists killed in FC Balochistan operations

The blast caused the walls of a neighbouring property to collapse, injuring four civilians. They were admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

In Dera Ismail Khan, two suspected terrorists of a banned outfit were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in tehsil Draban of the district, Radio Pakistan reported.
