Candidacy: Independent steps aside for PPP

Chaudhry Ali announced complete political support for Ali during a special meeting held at a village.

SIALKOT: Independent candidate Chaudhry Sikandar Ali Khan, on Monday, withdrew his nomination papers in favour of PPP candidate Chaudhry Shaukat Wazir Ali in constituency LA-32, Jammu III of Sialkot. He announced complete political support for Ali during a special meeting held at village Koobay Chak, chaired by Federal Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan. Awan welcomed Sikandar’s decision, saying that it would help the PPP to win the coming general elections of the AJK Legislative Assembly.
